Moving and lifting pallets is a common task in various industries, such as warehousing, logistics, and manufacturing. There are numerous methods and equipment used to lift and move pallets, each suited for different applications and requirements. MHA supply the adequate equipment to move pallets safely, providing various products that will do this.

Pallet Jack (Pump Truck):

A pallet jack is a manual or electric hand-operated tool designed to lift and move pallets over short distances. It has two forks that slide into the openings of the pallet, and a hydraulic pump that raises the pallet off the ground. Pallet jacks are suitable for use in narrowed spaces and on flat surfaces. MHA’s 2500kg Powder coated Pallet Trucks are built tough, exceptionally strong but lightweight steel construction. They are ideal for moving heavy or light pallets within a warehouse. The Edge – Electric Pallet Tuck is designed to avoid manually pushing pallets around on a non-electric pallet truck.

Pallet Stacker:

Pallet stackers are similar to forklifts but are built for lighter loads and lower lifting heights. They are normally used when there is a need to stack pallets vertically, such as in storage racks. MHA’s Heavy-Duty Manual Fork Stackers are built from heavy duty materials and are an economical alternative to forklifts. The straddle leg stacker version is designed for use with standard 1170mm Australian pallets and the standard leg model for use on euro pallets.

Pallet Inverter:

Pallet inverters are designed to rotate pallets and their loads. They are useful when transferring products from one pallet to another or when removing damaged pallets without manually unloading them. The Free-Standing Pallet Inverter that MHA sells is the simpler and less costly option where forklifts are available and ground level loading is not essential. It’s ideal for load transfer from wood to plastic or other hygienic pallets.

Pallet Elevators/Lifters:

Pallet elevators and lifters are designed to lift the pallets without manually having to do so. MHA’s Galvanised Spring Pallet Elevator can be moved with a standard pallet truck to ease the manual strain of lifting pallets. The turntable allows the operator to rotate the pallet with minimal stretching and reaching. The Bishamon Pneumatic Rotating Pallet Positioner is designed to eliminate worker bending by automatically raising and lowering pallets during loading or unloading without the use of mechanical springs, motors or hydraulics. The Rotatable Electric Lift Table/Pallet Elevator is ideal for varying weight pallets as there’s no need to change the springs.
